Central Fairies are not finicky about the door that gets them to the otherworld. As long as it's a little bit pretty and a little bit wonderful, they'll be happy!
Fairies are the only ones who can open the doors. So, your Fairy Door should not open and does not need hinges.
Since they will be located on people's property, we'd like to keep the doors for looking at with our eyes, not our hands.
The size and shape of your Fairy Door is limited only by your imagination!
If you want your Door to be something that neighbours can enjoy as well, be sure to make it big enough to be seen from the sidewalk (we're not encouraging people to walk on your property looking).
Most of Central Fairies doors are 8 inches high and 3 inches wide, but don't be limited to the norm....fairies aren't!

The Fairies don't mind at all if you decide to splurge for a door with all the bells and whistles. It looks like you can spend anywhere between $10-$100, depending on your interest.

All Fairy Door sites are located on private property. They should be viewed only from the sidewalk unless otherwise indicated at the site location or if that site is a business open to the public. As with any Fairy Door search we encourage everyone to walk. Stopping on busy roads can be dangerous and illegal.
